Smart Elbow® deflection elbow produces serious savings
Keeping your costs down is easy with the Smart Elbow deflection elbow. In an actual conveyance installation, a long-sweep elbow made of stainless steel was wearing out every four months, requiring downtime, installation effort and of course the replacement cost of the elbows.
The factory swapped out each long-sweep stainless elbows with our Smart Elbows made of hard ductile iron. After five years, the schedule 40 4” Smart Elbows were going strong.
The savings are enormous. Considering five years of not replacing long-sweep elbows, the cost of halting production for maintenance, installation costs and cleanup and losses from spillage, the factory has so far saved at least $169,000!
